Hoover Dam

Since we spent New Years in Vegas we decided to drive to see the Hoover Dam on New Years Day. The traffic was not too bad.

Process:

Go through a security checkpoint where you can not have any guns, controlled substances or drones. They ask you are you in possession of any of these items. Some cars were searched but the majority were not.

Then you drive up to either park in the limited space parking lots or keep moving to the garage. There is no entrance fee to walk the dam but there is a $10 parking fee. There is also a fee to go through the exhibit but we opted out of that.

The Hoover Dam runs along the Nevada and Arizona state lines.
